Why do girls wear fake tan? Opinions please?

girls fake tan because they don't want to be pale but they don't want to damage theyre skin with real tanning. i only fake tanned one time and it looked bad o n me now i just tan naturally (sunbed sometimes and laying outside alot) a lot of guys hate it cause most of it makes you look orange!
