Why did he do that...?

Ok so last night i was talking to my friends on oovoo and my friend added my ex with whom i had a very very bad break up without my permission.Last time he said he didn't want to see me again so ok he got into the conversation stayed said hello to all i didn't say anything ..he stayed a bit and played poker with my friend on facebook and then he found an excuse he had to sleep and left the conversation.My friend asked him did you leave because of her?he said yes she said but she didnt do anything he replied i dont want to see her!Does he hate or something or it just hurts to see me? I did some bad stuff to him in the past..we were friends for 4 yrs if that before we got together if that counts.Please answer my question..
