Poker is it correct to trap more in live poker compared to online if you trust your read?

Because when you feel an opponent is bluffing online you would try and raise him right there ( if a scare card is likely to come causing you to have doubts in whether if you're opponent barrels again if he sucked out) however when your playing live it is correct to trap even if a scare card comes because you can pick up on many more tells... Right?
